I've used Nevin from Dover Country Trees on numerous occasions over the years. He's a highly skilled climber and arborist who has safely taken down some very large and precarious trees around our property. Most recently, I hired them to remove 2 large pines and a mammoth oak tree, which were creating a mess and potential hazard over a section of our driveway used for parking. The process (like always with Nevin) was smooth, clean, and professional and I'm glad we have a great tree guy we can count on. Also, the process was fun to watch and I even pulled out my drone to snap a few pictures. It's crazy what this guy can do!

Nevin and team crushed it when we had a relatively urgent situation for them to help us with. He responded immediately and was able to come help remove a fallen tree that was resting on our roof ASAP. The way the tree fell presented a pretty precarious situation and they did some incredibly impressive rigging to avoid any further property damage during the removal process. It was quite a sight to witness and I highly recommend this company to anyone with tree-related issues. They certainly know what they are doing and are prompt, friendly, and eager to help!

Our property has a large number of mature trees and hadn’t had any tree service in over 20 years. The scope was significant—removing many trees and fully pruning the rest, easily 30–50 trees in total—and they did it while working through roughly 18 inches of snow on the ground.
From the start, communication was excellent. They took the time to walk the property, explain what access they would need, and clearly describe what they planned to do and why. It genuinely felt like they were approaching the job with the same care they would use on their own home.
The work ethic was remarkable. They worked straight through the day, often into darkness, and everything they did looked difficult, dangerous, and impressive. Despite the scale of the job, they were thoughtful and kind throughout—at one point stopping to play with our dogs when I accidentally let them out, and on another day bringing our mail and empty trash cans up a long, steep, snowy driveway without being asked.
When they finished, the results were better than we expected. The property already feels brighter and tidier, and I can’t wait to see how it looks in the spring. The pricing was clear and transparent, and they were open about what had been done and what remained.
